Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
Open. Fresh. Youthful look.
"Blepharoplasty removes excess sagging skin, fat pads, and wrinkles from the upper and lower eyelids. The procedure restores a refreshed, youthful gaze and can improve the visual field when heavy hooded skin interferes with vision."
Your journey
Consultation & Assessment
Evaluating eyelid anatomy, skin elasticity, and fat hernia volume. Selecting upper, lower, or quad blepharoplasty.
Precise Marking
Incision lines are meticulously drawn along the natural upper lid crease and just below the lower lash line.
Correction & Resection
Removal or repositioning of excess skin and fat bags (transconjunctival approach leaves no external scar).
Cosmetic Suturing
Ultra-fine cosmetic sutures are applied, ensuring the resulting scars remain virtually invisible.
Recovery & Result
Discharge home within a few hours. Sutures removed on day 4–5, with main swelling subsiding in 10–14 days.
Rehabilitation
Surgery day
Application of cold compresses. Patient returns home after a few hours of rest.
Suture removal
Sutures are removed in clinic. Swelling and bruising reach peak and start to subside.
Social activity
Bruising mostly fades. Return to work is comfortable using sunglasses outdoors.
Sport & activity
Full return to light physical exercise and regular daily routines.
Final outcome
Tissues fully mature. Scars fade completely, leaving a refreshed, youthful gaze.
Scar progression
How the scar changes — from surgery to final result
Scars are placed within natural skin folds and become virtually unnoticeable over time. Proper care and sun protection speed up the fading process. For most patients, the scar blends with the surrounding skin within 12–18 months.
Suture removal
The scar is pink-red and slightly raised. Scar care begins — silicone gel or tape.
Active healing
Colour darkens to deep pink. The scar may thicken — this is normal. Avoid sun exposure and wear compression garments.
Maturation
The scar lightens, softens, and flattens. Itching and heightened sensitivity fade.
Final appearance
The scar takes on a silvery-beige tone and becomes barely visible, aligning with underwear lines.
