"A body lift addresses loose, sagging skin of the torso, thighs, and buttocks — usually after significant weight loss. The result is a markedly improved silhouette and restored body confidence."
Your journey
Consultation & Planning
Comprehensive body assessment. Photography, measurements, health screening. The surgical plan is tailored to your tissue distribution.
Surgical Marking
Extensive pre-operative marking while standing, to account for the gravitational position of the tissues.
Excision
Excess skin and fat are removed from target zones. Incisions are placed to hide under underwear/swimwear.
Lift & Tighten
Underlying tissues are repositioned and tightened. Several anatomical zones are addressed in one operation.
Recovery
Compression garment worn for 6–8 weeks. Significant improvement is visible immediately. The final result appears at 6 months.
Rehabilitation
Inpatient
3 days in hospital. Drains, pain relief, antibiotics. Bent body posture.
Bed rest
Restricted movement. Family help is essential. Compression garment 24/7.
Gradual activity
Light walking. Most return to desk work by the end of the month.
Physical activity
Light sport allowed. Keep the compression garment during exertion.
Final contour
All swelling gone. The final silhouette shows. Scars are hidden by underwear.
Scar progression
How the scar changes — from surgery to final result
Scars are placed within natural skin folds and become virtually unnoticeable over time. Proper care and sun protection speed up the fading process. For most patients, the scar blends with the surrounding skin within 12–18 months.
Suture removal
The scar is pink-red and slightly raised. Scar care begins — silicone gel or tape.
Active healing
Colour darkens to deep pink. The scar may thicken — this is normal. Avoid sun exposure and wear compression garments.
Maturation
The scar lightens, softens, and flattens. Itching and heightened sensitivity fade.
Final appearance
The scar takes on a silvery-beige tone and becomes barely visible, aligning with underwear lines.
